Situated in the heart of Sydney’s core financial precinct, the 1 Bligh Street office tower represents the next generation in premium, sustainable office space.

The building is an ecologically sustainable development and was awarded six-star green status by the Green Building Council of Australia.

To service the needs of the tenants occupying its 27 levels of office space, 1 Bligh Street was in need of new end of trip facilities, including upgraded showers, towel service and a wellness centre.

1 Blight Street SOLUTION

To answer this challenge, Rheem worked with Norman Disney & Young Hydraulic Consultants on the design and was assisted by the professional team at Mr Water Plumbing on the installation of a high efficiency hot water solution that met the brief and aligned with the sustainability standards of the building.

Rheem ultimately supplied an energy efficient set up consisting of our Air to Water (A2W) Commercial Heat Pumps and Commercial Storage Tanks that provides up to 1,230L of stored hot water for the building’s new facilities.
